For those who have an alias for their user name, how/why did you pick it for BN?
For me, flamesabers is in reference to one of the gunblade models used by the protagonist Squall Leonhart in the video game Final Fantasy VIII. I was a huge fan of the game during my teenage years.
I have recently metioned that there is a "Trannier than thou" attitude from some members of the forum. I have first used that term many years ago, and the need for it seems to go in cycles and circles so, just to be clear, I think a clarification is due about its meaning.

I am quite steadily in the "male staying male" group. It's the group of cis males (males who do not want to transition) who want to grow boobs. The reason why I want to grow breasts is not important here. The point is that for reasons connected to my own feelings, my psyche, my circumstances, my mindset, my upbringong, my political choices, my family, my age, the people around me, etc... I don't want or can't transition. It's not laziness or unwillingness to challenge stereotypes, I am just happy being "a guy", but I want boobs. It's my choice, I don't push it on others, and I only ask that it is respected.
I see a lot of other people around here in the same situation and with the same mindset, and I respect them. I also see a lot of trangender women pre/mid/post medical/social transition who feel that they should be seen as women or that they were always women inside. I do not dispute this and I acknowledge them as the women they are. I have no problem with that and I don't see why they should have a problem with me, yet...

There are a few people around here that believe that if you want boobs, then you are trans*. They think they know better and that if you have not realised it, it's only because you "are not there yet", "have internalised transphobia" or "are just lying about yourself". They think they know better because they have found out and accepted that THEY are trans (gender) so they believe that they can teach you how you should feel because they are "trannier than you". (My own definition. You can also use "more Enlightened" if you prefer)
Where and when does this attitute come out? It comes out when it goes from "Do you feel you should transition?" to "You should really tell your wife!". It emerges when you go from "Have you started doing herbs?" to "Drop the herbs, call the doc, and get on pharma HRT!".

Many guys join BreatNexum because they just want boobs. The purpose of this forum is to inform people on how to achieve that. While the forum is technically for genetic males, what is important is that we share tips and tricks on how to grow breasts, not on how we should feel about it. It is true that many, yet not most, of the members of this forum have decided to transition, and that breast growth for them was just a gateway to discovering their true self, but whenever I see that someone pushes their transgenderism on other people I think they commit the sin of misgendering the other person. I seriously do consider transgender people brave and strong for going through many different levels of adversity and pain to be recognised as their true self, but I also believe that there is a real struggle for guys who want to have some feminine attributes without transitioning and they should not be made to feel any less valid than a transgender person or than a "typical male" person. This forum should make us all feel like we are on the same level, and not that there are people that should feel less entitled to grow breasts because they are not transitioning.
Some of us don't have access to HRT. Some will not even be able to buy herbs off Amazon or Ebay. Some of use will have issues getting their parcels delivered. Some will be living with conservative parents and some will have yet to decide what they want to do. This forum exists because we want to make the most of what is available. We all know that HRT is the best way, apart from surgery, to get boobs, but not all of us can or want to go down that path.

So, please, drop the "trannier than thou" attitude. Being transgender, having done HRT, should not make you feel like royalty here. It should just mean that you have been down that path and that you can speak from experience from it. It's not a coat of royalty. There are many people around here who are just starting their journey and their way, whichever it is and wherever it takes, is valid. We are all at the same level, and we are all here to share our story, not to impose our way on others.

I hope this clarified my words once and for all.

Hello everyone,

The inspiration of this thread came from posters on the "safe space" thread.

(Disclaimer: English is my first and only language).

I never had my chromosomes tested. I presume they're XY, based on my HRT regime and no doctor has ever suggested to me that I might have anything different.

For clarification, I joined this forum about 9ish years prior to my "official" transition on HRT in 2021. Back in 2012, I didn't have any disagreement about joining a BN subforum intended for "genetic males." I just wanted to grow breasts and learn from people who had similar genetics/biology/hormones as mine. I was well aware that participating in the genetic female side of the forum didn't make sense, as I had a testosterone dominance and low estrogen levels to change if I wanted to grow feminine breasts. Loading up on PM made sense for my NBE regime to be successful. But for a genetic female? I don't know what kind of PM level would be best appropriate for her, other then perhaps the recommended bottle dosage for 500-1,000mg a day (for Ainterol's brand anyway). I knew I could never do that kind of self-experimentation for a genetic female considering my current hormone system.

Even though I was aware of my possible trans indicators, I was still presenting/living as a male in real life 100% of the time. NBE was a secret I didn't even tell my doctors about. I don't recall exactly when, but I remember posting as a "male staying male" in the relevant sub-forum as I had no plans of transitioning. The obvious pronouns for me to go by was he/him (at least in real life anyway). (They/them never resonated for me, as I don't consider myself non-binary).

Early-to-mid 2021 happened and then I made the decision to transition. I started my HRT with Planned Parenthood. I remember on their intake form they inquired on what pronouns I go by. I put something to the effect of "doesn't matter." In my mind at the time, this was only a single step towards transitioning. Even though I had 9 years of breast growth from PM, I was still living/presenting as male in real life. Changing my pronouns to she/her didn't feel right at the time.

With all of that said, now nearly 5 years into my transition, I'm still well-aware of my biology, (likely) genetics, and what my hormone levels would probably be if I wasn't on exogenous hormones (HRT). When I come out to others as trans, I believe that automatically "covers the bases" of me disclosing I'm a genetic male. However, with the amount of time I've been on HRT, and long since legally transitioned, I'm living as a woman 100% of the time. I no longer have to pretend to be a guy anymore. Outside of the doctor's office, and sexual/romantic partners, being a gentic male has become less and less relevant for me in real life.

TLDR: I'm not bothered by the title of this forum (breast growth for genetic males), nor do I feel it needs to be changed. At most maybe there could be another subforum for intersex individuals under the transgender section? Do I want to be referred to as a genetic male? I don't feel that particular label is as accurate as being a trans woman.

As for my biology and hormones, it's no secret that I'm on MtF HRT. The M part (or starting point) stands for male. But again, I think the label trans woman is much more fitting for me then male.

Breast Nexum is for assisting genetic males with the science of growing breasts. In the last many several months, this board has devolved into nonstop fetishism and open fantasizations and quite frankly it's disgusting.

We now seem to have a growing community of perverts that completely detract from the purpose of this board. More than once on my main thread I've had too many outright sexual comments directed at me and that just pisses me off.

I share this sentiment. I have gazillion pictures up here and I don't like the fact they're being downloaded like crazy, used for what purpose? Creeps adding them to their wankaroo picture collection no doubt. I've had moments when I want to leave because of too many creeps posting openly misogynistic, degrating pervy fetish stuff over here. And picture spam, there's a place for it, personal program threads and relevant threads on adult only subforum which is THE place for NSFW posts. Stay fucking civil about it, its not that difficult! NSFW pics in personal program threads are fine when they're relevant to body change progress and such, that's cool. Adult only forum threads are also cool, but that's it. In my opinion of course, who am I to judge?

Except that I don't like to keep posting on a forum which is fine about being almost openly self made porn fetish stuff, posting stuff which is absolutely misogynistic and draws directly from an industry which openly degrades women and makes intersex/trans women like me into glorified sex toys. I'm not cool with that. Its not fun. There are plenty of better platforms for fetish content and NSFW stuff and even BN has a dedicated subforum for it. BN has always been friendly and easy to approach place with most people being open minded and cool and the thing I've liked the most here is the emphasis on breast development, science behind it, rather than being a porn forum for picture spamming and circle wanking for pervy men.

Can it stay that way? Can all the good qualities of this forum prevail and Fetlife stuff stay in Fetlife? Feel free to discuss and don't crucify me for bringing this up, there's a growing sentiment about it going on lately.

So, some of us struggle to lose weight in some areas and gain them in others. We do this through excercise, changing our body chemistry (hrt/nbe etc). as well as dietary changes.

Have you ever started losing weight and felt extremely miserable? almost sicK? this is because fat will encapsulate pesticides and chemicals, and when you lose that fat, it re-exposes you to those chemicals and/or pesticides. In this day and age, there is not much we can do to shield ourselves from the every day used chemicals. its in the air, in our water, on our foods, in rugs, clothing, bedding, etc..

so i would like to open this thread to those out there, who may have some helpful tips on how to lose/move or migrate fat from one part of the body to the other, and have a thoughtful discussion about it. Please feel free to join in. One thing i have heard of was "brushing" aka brushing your belly fat up towards your breasts.. fact or fiction? does this really work?

I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes, (long time coming as it runs in my family). In an effort to reduce stress on my body and maintain better blood sugars i have pretty much restricted my diet , omitting a lot of bread, rice, potatoes, (all the good stuff) and have increased proteins and veggies . I have lost considerable weight over the few years i have been absent. though i have a few lbs that are stubborn to lose (think its the brown fat, if i recall right).

I have recently started taking Organic apple cider vinigar to help with acid reflux, as well as help manage my sugar levels, and that has helped me slowly get down to my ideal BMI weight.

So, for all you out there, Whats your take on things?

It's pretty simple scene, but it's quite something.
