So I was doing NBE herbs for about a month then had to stop due to family/personal issues. 3 weeks later I was at the DR and he wanted to do labs. My testosterone came back high. Both free and total. Total 929, free 21.2. Last time my T was checked was back in 2021, total was 384, they did not check free at that time. WTF? Is this normal? Why would my T be so high after stopping? I thought the whole point of this was to lower T? For more info my routine is below. Thanks!

Oral DHEA is implicated / known to increase testosterone.
Apparently not for topical DHEA.

Not so simple, DHEA is adaptogenic and can convert to more than a dozen different things. The androgen effect doesn't seem to happen or end up causing any harm when its done with efficient blocker, Bica in particular functions in a way that any extra adrogens are nothing but fuel to aromatase to covert to estrogens. Its also one of those things there is no clear cut control for, the effect might vary quite a bit depending on the individual and depending on gazillion factors. I wouldn't advice to take DHEA unless there's a clear plan on how to make it advantageous.
A XY male typical person not on femising HRT taking DHEA will very likely sabotage the effort. Topical DHEA is a bit different beast and it requires the certain balance to work correctly, it should do some of the good stuff on its own but I would again advice against it without a clear cut plan which is the full TCP.
There's same mistakes being repeated time and again on the forum and one is to blindly take what ever people are talking about without a coherent plan on what to take and why, and knowledge of do the ingredients work together and so on.
About the OP, what do the numbers mean? Dosages should be mentioned, that's easy, it says it on the tin what each contain. Without that information its impossible to try to troubleshoot the situation. I think the issue here is very likely oral DHEA and lack of cohesive plan on how to do NBE. A lot of it is just wishful thinking a lot of the time.
