Hello, I discovered the forum a few days ago and I thought it was the right place for me, so I wanted to introduce myself.
I'm a 31 year old male (questioning). While I think I've always had a fascination with having breasts, over the past several years, the idea has festered painfully in the corner of my head at all times. I'm not sure if I'm an egg, but I've tried CD. I'm not particularly bothered with being male, but physically, I'd greatly prefer having a more feminine body and appearance. The older I get, the more I feel like if I don't start soon, I will lose the opportunity to. But I'm also scared how it'll affect my relationships, job and health, and I'm not ready to commit to HRT.
This forum feels like a godsend to me, because the knowledge and experiences available here is so extensive. At the very least, it gives me sometime to properly research and figure things out for myself.
Right now, my goal is to be able to remain passing as male in public, but be able to enjoy my breasts and femininity in privacy. I'm starting completely from zero right now. I think my best start would be to lose weight before getting started, as I have several obesity-related health issues, and afaik they don't play well with hormone therapy. Any sort of guidance on a starting point would be appreciated. Thank you for having me.

Hello waitosuneko,
Welcome to the forum!
Are you looking to try the NBE route of breast growth? (as you mentioned you're not ready for HRT)
For NBE, Pueraria Mirifica (PM) and Bovine Ovary (BO) are some of the most common items used on this forum.
As far as remaining passing as male in public, the good news is most people aren't looking for feminine breasts on a male. Short of situations you might be topless in (i.e. public showering, swimming, doctor exams, etc), you might be surprised how much growth you can get away with. Also, even if people do notice your breast growth, it's generally considered impolite to comment on other people's bodies.

Hi Alice! Yeah, I was thinking about purchasing BO yesterday, but I chickened out in the end.
I think your words are encouraging me a lot more. I might be a too cautious about starting NBE; I understand it's not going to be the same as full HRT.
I'm still working on my approach and getting more info by searching the forum, but I think my planned stack is going to be BO, PC and RR, along with some DHEA, MSM, Vitamin D3 and calcium to supplement. Along with some better general health choices.

Hello again,
From a mental perspective, starting on NBE (or HRT) can be a huge step for someone. In terms of physical changes however, results are very far from being instantaneous. It can take weeks to months for the first signs to manifest, and typically it's something non-visible such as itching/soreness of your breasts.
For me, once I made the decision to grow breasts, I never looked back on my decision. I didn't go on HRT until 9 years after being on PM and I decided it was time for me to transition.

I think you're right about taking that step. I think the biggest thing holding me back is myself. At the very least, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

hi <3
every day, you can decide if what you're doing is not for you at this point in your life. you can also decide to start again if that feels like what you would like to do. this is not some kind of a gateway that once you've gone through, there's no going back. most changes take ages even for those with the fastest response from their body. and most changes are reversible, such as fat redistribution and whatnot. breast tissue is not reversible, however, and if you run into talk of "point of no return" (happens if you read up on glandulars), people mostly mean permanent breast tissue that's not going to go away without surgical intervention. however, that takes a long time to even get started, as alice said. you'll have plenty of time to reflect. and you'll probably get more in tune with your inner feelings, which is only ever a positive thing <3
my advice is to start your own thread somewhere in personal programs or members only area, and document your progress, thoughts, feelings along the way. that way, you'll process them every once in a while, out of your head into text. it helps looking back when nothing feels like progressing. one tool at your disposal to process your journey.
have a lot of love towards yourself. you deserve it ♡ (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

With contemplating with taking the first step, imagine the following hypothetical scenario:
Without taking NBE (or HRT), your body starts to grow breasts and undergo other physical feminization elsewhere.
Would you try to do something to stop your breast growth/feminization? Or would you be very happy about getting the type of body you (secretly) prefer?
If the second response is your answer, I think that says a lot about your desire to go down the path of feminization. Going down this path may not be easy if people in your life (especially if your family/friends/work, etc.) aren't accepting of anyone who shows the slightest sign of being gender non-conforming and/or trans. However, living your life in a way solely for the sake of others isn't satisfying either unfortunately.

Thanks for the advice. It definitely helps alleviate the anxieties I have about starting. I'll definitely make my own thread when I start; documenting progress is absolutely the plan.
