(03-03-2026, 06:45 PM)Heaven's Night Wrote:  Just a quick note about biotin, change it to your evening routine. It has quite short half life, so you want to make sure the levels peak while you're resting as thats's when everything tends to grow the best, this ensures your body has the stuff to grow your hair as much as possible. I recently changed my biotin to evening and it seems to be making a difference.

Awesome! I will start to do this then! Will skip taking it tomorrow morning and start taking it at tomorrow night to get everything aligned with the routine!  Thank you again Lara!

Monthly Update (4/3/2026):

Hihiii everyone!

This now makes it four months on this plan.

Here is an update on the items I am taking & things I have noticed!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NBE Plan:

I have been taking the last update dosages for the entire month.  I have added in Iodine as well during this last month.  Here is the updated plan:

BO: 1,600mg/day (4 BO @ 250mg/pill, 4 Multi-Glandular per day @ 150mg/pill)
PG: 160mg/day (2 pills per day)
UG: 600mg/day (from Multi-Glandular)
Vitamin D3: 2,000IU/day (100mcg per 2,500 IU of Vitamin D3)
White Peony: 4ml/day (983mg per 1ml)
Dandelion Root:  4ml/day (1,186mg per 1ml; non-alcohol tincture version)
Reishi Mushroom:   4ml/day (983mg per 1ml)
Milk Thistle:   4ml/day (983mg per 1ml)
Vitamin K2 (MK7):  100mcg/day (half a pill in morning & night)
EGCG: 200mg/day (2 pills a day)
Omega-3: 690mg/day (2 pills a day)
Evening Primrose Oil: 2,000mg/day (2 pills a day)
Chasteberry: 1,600mg/day (4 pills a day)
Biotin: 10,000mcg/day (1 pill at night)
Iodine: 150 mcg/day (1 pill in morning)

Note: Tincture items are all within the suggested use amount listed on the tincture bottle.  4ml is the maximum amount listed for daily use/consumption on the bottles.

In addition, I have added some topical items outside of strictly just taking Prog Cream.  At the current moment, it is simply DHEA, as well as, an E-cream that contains E3 & E2 (DMSO being added this weekend @ 20%).  Applying to breast area & excess is done on rotating area of inner thigh, butt/hips, and lower belly.  The dosages can be found below:

DHEA Cream: 2 pumps every night (50mg per pump)
Progesterone Cream: 2 pumps every night (75mg per pump)
E-Cream: 2 pumps every night (4mg E3 and 1mg E2 per pump)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are the adjusted fourth-month measurements I am keeping track of here:

Height: ~68.5in/~137.99cm --->  ~68.5in/~137.99cm (Possible slight decrease; tough to be completely accurate due to self-measuring for height)
Weight: 206lbs/~93.44kg ---> 209lbs/~94.80kg
Bust: 42in/~106.68cm ---> 43in/~109.22cm
Underbust: 40.25in/~102.24cm ---> 40.75in/~103.50cm
Waist: 38.5in/~97.79cm ---> 39in/~99.06cm
Hips: 44.25in/~112.40cm ---> 45in/~114.30cm
Thighs: 25.5in/~64.77cm ---> 26.5in/~67.31cm (Measurements done standing up & around thickest part of thighs during all measurements)
Foot Length: ~10.25in/26.04cm ---> ~10in/~25.4cm (Slightly larger than 10in, but unable to directly specify on measuring tape)
Foot Across: ~3.5in/~8.89cm --->  ~3.5in/~8.89cm (Slightly larger than 3.5in, but unable to directly specify on measuring tape)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other notable items that have seen/felt (continuation of items seen in Post #19 here):
  • Slight soreness in hips and butt was less frequent this month, but still happened.
  • Libido again still tapering off & no more morning issue.  Also both eggs are again slightly smaller (& can physically feel slightly smaller).
  • Emotions seem to have greater depth/peaks than previously (YIPPEE!!!!)
  • All other commented items (general items) are relatively the same
  • Breasts: Since adding in the E & DHEA (planning on adding the DMSO @ 20% with dilution this weekend) for about 1-1.5 weeks, soreness has definitely come back & bumps felt in breast (buds) have come back again.  Definitely feels like "something is there now" (not very big, but definitely something).  Nipples are definitely sore, sensitive, and larger (and tend to poke through most things that am wearing).  Areolas are also a bit larger.  Do have to moisturize every morning there now though (since using the topicals every night).
  • Skin: Continues to be softer than it was last month.
  • Hair (head): Hair is still growing back in.  Also definitely feels thicker & softer to the touch (but could also be just b/c I am more aware of it + touching it more often than previously).

Still happy with the progress, but hoping for more growth in a few areas and some healthy soreness+growth in other areas!  On to month 5!

Just a quick update (4/11/2026):

As have been about 4.5 months on this NBE plan, I've finally affirmed about actually wanting to move onto HRT (big thanks to NBE for helping with this).  As such, I will be taking some stand-alone blood tests (on my levels, similar to Post #10) to get an idea of the initial levels for myself & see how this NBE has worked overall (i.e. how receptive my body is to E-level & T-level changes) before moving to actual HRT.

For this bloodwork, I have currently stopped taking the DHEA in the topical program currently; as the lab stated it can affect the results I am seeing (at least not taking it for 1 week).  I am currently taking everything else still (minus the DMSO), but plan on stopping everything (unfortunately) about 72 hours before the test (so essentially Tuesday Morning).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the blood work is getting done next Friday (4/17), and I believe it took about 5-6 days to get the results back; so expecting this information around April 22nd (arrived electronically by the end of the night).  I have already booked my HRT/GAHT consult (Informed Consent method; via telemedicine company here in North America) for April 23rd (at Noon) to discuss goals/medications/expectations/etc.  They don't require initial labs (from what I read from them), so I will at least have my levels on hand if it is needed (to help speed up the process).

I believe they said after the consultation (30 minutes), the medication would be ready/arrive around a week after this.  The medication being discussed would be the following:

  1. EV (injection; SUBQ)
  2. Spiro (pill form & only thing that they offer; so no CA or Bica options unfortunately)
  3. Dutasteride (pill form)
  4. Progesterone (pill form)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So what would the NBE look like since starting HRT (current thoughts):

As I've seen other threads talking about stopping all NBE (and slowly adding it back in) when starting HRT, I was questioning if I would do the same action.  After some initial talks with Lara, I might continue on with the NBE (minus a few key items) unless I feel the need to fully stop/slow it down (i.e. if I feel the need to adapt to HRT for 1-3 months before carrying on).

As such, I would fully be stopping the White Peony during this time, as I will be getting it from the Spiro (and eventually maybe from Mono suppression).  Another item I was questioning stopping was the Red Reishi (as I would be getting the effects from Dutasteride), but Lara said there shouldn't be an issue as it doesn't interfere with anything.

As such, there might be slight changes/differences to the NBE program; with possibly only a very small handful of items being pulled out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As such, the result posting in this thread will come to a close (by the end of this month) within the "Genetic Males Personal Program".  I will, however, be creating a new post in the "HRT Programs" section (a link pointing to the new thread), discussing HRT and NBE usage & progress.

Will keep you all informed!!

Hihii everyones!!!

Just got back my blood work, so I can hold on to some initial levels before starting on HRT this upcoming Tuesday (YIPPEEE!!!!).

A little note for this blood work: I stopped taking both Biotin & DHEA a full week before doing the blood test, as well as, stopped taking all NBE & topical 72 hours before this.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So what has changed since November (before any NBE).

Let's start with the Hepatic Function Panel:

1) ALT has gone from in-range to out of range (24 -> 56 U/L).
2) All other items are still within their respective ranges

Two things changed from November for this.  One item was starting the NBE first week December (where dosages were pretty much constant across time). The second item was work+stress & how this affected my diet (which did not stay constant).

Looking over the past 5 months, I gained a little over 20 pounds.  The main cause of this action was extreme stresses driven from managers/directors at work (not normal work stresses; much more extreme than normal, like employment scare stuff).  Hence I was using food (primarily sweets) as a form of "stress control"; where sweets became more and more frequent as these past 5 months carried on.

When taking the blood test in November, I was not eating any sweets essentially (was dieting for about 5-6 months).

Hence (since all other items are well with range), I believe the main driving cause of this moving out of range is my diet; hence actively keeping food journal via spreadsheet to cut down negative high fats (which I have been).

Now let's look at the CBC:

1) MPV went from out of range to in-range (12.6 -> 11.1 fL)
2) Percent spread change between Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophils, and Basophils.
3) Everything stayed in-range

MPV went healthy (was only slightly over the range of 12.5 fL), so this is comforting to hear.

In November (for #2), the spread ended up being the following: Neutrophils (38.6%), Lymphocytes (52.3%), Monocytes (7.4%), Eosinophils (1.3%), and Basophils (0.4%).

For April (for #2), the spread changed to the following:  Neutrophils (51.7%), Lymphocytes (38.8%), Monocytes (7.5%), Eosinophils (1.6%), and Basophils (0.4%).

From what I read, my neutrophils (typically 40-60%) & lymphocytes (typically 20-40%) would be just outside the normal ranges during November.  This has moved to "in-range" for April.

Looking at Prolactin:

1) Prolactin numbers went from out of range to in-range (19.3 -> 17.8 ng/mL)

Looking at Testosterone:

1) Total Testosterone decreased over 5 months (502 -> 316 ng/dL)
2) Free Testosterone decreased over 5 months (103.9 -> 75.2 pg/mL)

So using WP and RR+Green Tea Extract has helped reduce these levels to this extent during 5 months.

Looking at Vitamin D levels (not found in November labs):

1) Vitamin D levels show values juuuuuuust inside the range (31 ng/mL; 30-100 ng/mL)

Hence I could get away with taking more Vitamin D3 (as normally wouldn't be in the range without taking it daily.

Lastly, looking at the Estradiol levels:

1) Estradiol decreased compared to the past 5 months (42 -> 36 pg/mL)

Please note the test was Ultrasensitive LC/MS (same test taken during November).

With including all the NBE items & topicals, this number would hopefully be elevated above the 42 pg/mL.  But surprisingly the natural resting E level for me went down over a 5 month period.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Interestingly enough, I still noticed the changes using just NBE (seen in previous posts) with T levels moving down; but also saw "natural"/"resting" E levels go down as well.

But nonetheless excited to see how this all worked standalone.

Now onward to actual HRT with NBE supporting it (will be creating a thread in the HRT Program thread soon enough)!!!

Thankies agains everyone!!

Samantha
