Thank you!! I know I am incredibly lucky. My girlfriend supports me as a sort of vague transwoman. Between us I identify as female and it helps bond us. I am by nature very feminine but not effeminate so I can hide it when we are out. She is a very attractive woman and she is concerned that the wrong people may approach her so she needs me to appear masculine..which is fine I guess. We have both been sexually assaulted so I take this concern very seriously.
My girlfriend's ex-husband is a transwoman and has had genital surgery. I would never do that (I think) so I am less extreme than my girlfriend's previous experience. Plus her X was hiding it and I am very honest about it with her.
I wish everyone of us on this path could be as lucky as I have been!
Best wishes.
