Lemon / lemon water as a meaningful CYP17 blocker is not something I've ever come across. I'm struggling to see this as likely to be true.
I've heard a lot about spearmint. Is that something you've looked at?
Thanks for the feedback! I think you're right. I probably got confused because I saw Borage Oil and EPO mentioned as aromatase inducers in Project X (around page 349), but they might not be as potent or effective as white peony. (I’m not an expert on the science side of things yet, and English isn’t my first language lol).
Regarding the lemon water, I think Lotus mentions it (and other fruits/veggies) as potential CYP17 blockers on pages 331 and 391, but as you suggested, the potency is likely the main issue there.
Spearmint seems like an easy addition since its anti-androgenic effects are better documented. Thanks for the tip! By the way, do you happen to know if spearmint can cause SHBG to increase too much?
