Long-term effects of BO after stopping vs. Estrogen
#3

The suspicion of aromatase feedback loop, aka "the point of no return" with BO is anecdotal at this time. At least I don't know of a study figuring out how it works. But there are some studies done and articles written, on use of glandular therapy to aid breast development. I dropped some not long ago, I don't remember which thread it was.

The feedback loop has been talked about so much, I wish that there were something conclusive about it. I think its been repeated about so much its worth looking into, but do not treat it as some sort of ultimate truth on how BO works. I know a lot of guys here have been talking about it as some scary monster in the closet as they're scared of getting more body changes than smallish boobs. Its not like that, hormone tweaking stuff doesn't work like magic, it follows a logic, a balance and genetics. Big Grin

Which reminds me, there's a thread I have to start, a fresh one, which will be solely for sharing documents about brast development. I'veshared some of what I have and there's lot more I should try to find and save a copy of. Including what is known about bovine ovary.

Estrogens do not immediately disappear, depending on the method of adminstration, the levels fall following a bell curve which is dependent on metabolism and the level where the drop starts and also the type of estrogen used to keep up said levels.(In case its exogenous.) Meaning that if you use a patch, gel or pills, your levels will crash quicker compared to using, say EEn injection. It can take from about two weeks to over a month for the levels tocompletely drop.

Note that there's not one estrogen but four, three of them are present in every persons body at all times, these are the ones we can tweak with HRT etc. They're estrone, estradiol and estriol or in short E1, E2 and E3. Then there's fourth estrogen called Estetrol, E4, which is only present in pergnancy and there's not known method to have an effect on it, none that I know of. Typically in case of HRT, NBE or breast growth, when people say "estrogen" they almost always mean only estradiol. This is a mistake as that distinction is important. There's a reason why I speak of estrogens in plural a lot of times as I mean all three normal types, unless its about a specific effect of specific estrogen. This is something that's also worth a discussion elsewhere.
