Estogel is best applied to the scrotum. Scrotal administration results in much higher estradiol levels than forearm application.

Best of Luck to You.

Better drop it down to 1000mg.

Did you end up with a dvt? Im back down to 1500 and going to drop back to 1000 in a few days, thanks

I'm unsure if Lara had DVT, I don't think she did. But several members here over the years have had problems with DVT. One required surgery.

I used to get leg cramps so bad that they'd literally knock me off the couch every night and onto the floor it was so bad.

Hello Mittyfloss,

When I was on the higher doses of pm, I would sometimes get headaches, but nothing beyond that.

Out of curiosity, are you planning on switching to HRT completely, or looking to mix HRT with NBE?

I don't have any experience with E gel or patches, only pills and injections.

I did get DVT symptoms for a while, I'm not sure how bad it was. Insane aches in my legs during nights, and I think I had some hotspots too. It went away quickly the moment I stopped taking PM. Later I went back on it for a while on smaller dose and the symptoms never came back, then quickly started convnetional HRT.

Hi flamesabers!

I guess it would be a mix of HRT and NBE? Id probably keep going with the supplements but obviously cease pm so it didnt interfere with the estrogen(which I was only taking as a bridge until the bi-est cream arrived after being delayed but probably wont use them now that my appointment with the gp is next week to discuss hrt).

I am looking at more of a micro/low dose level of hrt to take it slow. Probably go off finasteride after a bit and do monotherapy. Ive never had dysphoria about being male but everything about the changes I have experienced feels right and having boobs is the most amazing feeling.

Im in a kind of questioning everything phase right now thats coupled with anxiety about what the future holds. For now I very much want to explore this path some more and try to remain optimistic!

Bloody hell, sounds painful!! Im back down to 1000mg and my boobs have gone quiet but I know that doesnt necessarily mean that nothing is happening.

I was getting some bad cramps last year while taking pm but I chalked it up to very low iron, which can also cause cramping, and electrolytes but maybe pm had something to do with it. I think it improved once I went on iron sups though, but I stopped pm when I moved to the bi-est cream and I cant remember the exact timing of it all.

AtMintyfloss,

I also stopped taking PM as soon as I began on HRT. I don't recall being on any other NBE herbs back in May 2021 (when I started HRT).

As far as doing microdosing/low HRT, hopefully you find the right kind of regime that works for you.  Wink
